Durban marital row turns into gunfight at shopping mall

Police have confirmed a shooting at Durban's Pavilion shopping centre.

"It was a domestic dispute," Captain Thulani Zwane said. "At this stage I do not have any more details."

The centre's management said the shooting occurred a short while ago and involved a married couple at one of the retail stores.

It could not disclose the extent of the injuries or the number of people shot.
