Police release identikit of Senzo Meyiwa shooting suspects

The police have released facial compositions of two suspects involved in shooting of Orlando Pirates goalkeeper SenzoMeyiwa.

Police have released a 3D identity kit of the two suspects alleged to have been involved in Meyiwa's shooting which took place on Sunday evening at Kelly Khumalo's Vooslorus home.

The identikit was released on Twitter this afternoon. The one suspect is round faced with dreadlocks, and the other has a medium brown complexion, high cheekbones, beard and moustache and wearing a hoodie, he appears to have dreadlocks as well.

The police are offering a R250 000 reward for information on the whereabouts of the suspects. According to national police commissioner Rhia Phiyega, the men broke into Khumalo's home while seven occupants were in the house. The suspects made off with a cellphone.

These include Khumalo, her mother, sister and two younger siblings. The suspects got into a scuffle which ended in Meyiwa being shot in the back. He was later declared dead on arrival at Botsehlong Hospital.
