A Pretoria advocate shot dead

An advocate was shot dead in Karen Park, Pretoria, on Wednesday, police said.

His cellphone was taken during the attack, Warrant Officer Matthews Nkoadi said.

"The victim was apparently alone in the house when he was attacked. Assailants robbed him of his cellphone and fled."

The 41-year-old advocate was shot in the stomach and died on the scene.

No arrests had been made.
