Four Policemen were shot on Sunday following a hijacking at the London Road off ramp onto the N3.

Two officers succumbed to their wounds, while two are in critical condition. Intelligence Bureau SA reported that more than a hundred rounds were fired at them.

One wounded suspect was apprehended.

The hijacked vehicle plus one of the suspects' vehicles was recovered.
