Eastern Cape double murder mystery after two bodies found near black van

Police responded to a double-murder scene in Mdantsane NU7‚ where the bodies of two men were found lying 100m from each other. The bodies were found at 9am on Thursday next to the Grinaker Dam.Police spokesman Captain Mluleki Mbi said a patrolling police van spotted a stationary black sedan with all four doors wide open in a bush.“The officers stopped their car and walked to the sedan to investigate. They found the keys still in the ignition but the engine was not running‚" Mbi said.He said after walking around the car‚ police came across a body with a gunshot wound to the head."A few minutes later‚ they spotted another body not far from the first one. They noticed that the second deceased man suffered stab wounds to the chest‚" Mbi said.He said a firearm and a knife were discovered on the scene.Two murder cases have now been opened for investigation. -RDM News Wire, Daily Dispatch..
