Police are investigating the death of a second homeless man at Zoo Lake. Parkview station commander Colonel Samuel Mohlanga said officers had been called to the scene of a suspected murder after vagrants found a dead body between pipes.“We were called out and‚ upon investigation‚ other homeless people said an argument broke out between the dead man and two others‚ and later that night they found the body between the pipes‚” said Mohlanga.“There were blankets and other stuff there‚ so we are aware that there are people sleeping between those pipes‚” he added. The police have not yet been able to identify the man and say that the witnesses only know him by his nickname. The police were not able to remove the body and called on the fire department to assist. In March this year‚ police were called out to Zoo Lake when people on their morning walk discovered a body.A local paper reported at the time that the body was that of a woman in her 40s‚ and that there were no discernible injuries. - The Times..
