Five dead‚ 29 injured in KZN road accidents

Road accidents on Kwazulu-Natal freeways overnight have claimed the lives of five people and left at least 29 others injured‚ according to reports from emergency medical services. ER24 reported that a truck involving a truck and a car near the Hammersdale intersection on the N3 resulted in three deaths and left one person injured.The accident has caused the temporary closure of the N3 in both directions.In another accident in the province‚ two people were killed and 18 others injured – eight seriously‚ including a five-year-old child - when a minibus and a small bus collided on the N2‚ about two kilometres before Harding.The majority of the injured were passengers in the minibus. Five of the injured are reported to be in a critical condition in the St Andrews Hospital.Another accident on the N2‚ between Stanger and Darnell on the KZN north coast‚ 10 people were injured when a bakkie apparently left the road and crashed down an embankment...
