South Africa's unemployment rate down

South Africa's unemployment rate fell to 25 percent of the labour force in the second quarter from 26.4 percent in the first three months of the year, data showed on Wednesday. In its quarterly labour force survey, which polls households, Statistics South Africa said this amounted to 5.23 million people without work in the second quarter compared with 5.535 million previously.The expanded definition of unemployment, which includes people who have stopped looking for work, also eased to 34.9 percent from 36.1 percent. ..
