'Bad sex' and threesome claims in DJ's murder trial

03 August 2015 - 16:18 By Roxanne Henderson

Former Jozi FM DJ Donald "DJ Donald Duck" Sebolai allegedly told a police officer that he wanted to end his relationship with his slain girlfriend because the sex was bad. The South Gauteng High Court‚ sitting at the Palm Ridge Magistrate's Court southeast of Johannesburg‚ heard this on Monday when Warrant Officer Pheeha Esrom Mabitsi testified in Sebolai's murder trial.Sebolai‚ 38‚ is accused of stabbing Flavia Rachel “Dolly” Tshabalala‚ 32‚ to death after the couple had a fight at his Soweto flat in June last year. The DJ also faces charges of theft and defeating the ends of justice for allegedly stealing Tshabalala's car and disposing of some of her bloodied clothes. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.Mabitsi told the court that Sebolai wanted his assistance in kicking Tshabalala out of his flat‚ where the couple lived together for some time‚ because her vagina had "stretched" and sex with her was no longer enjoyable. The court heard earlier that Sebolai claimed he had sex with Tshabalala and her friend Nonhlanhla Mkhize together on three occasions. This emerged while defence advocate Thabang Mathopo cross-examined Mkhize‚ who on Friday testified that Sebolai called her on the day of Tshabalala's death and said: "I killed Dolly."Mkhize denied the allegations that she had a sexual relationship with Sebolai. The trial continues.
