The newly appointed lawyer for the driver involved in the collision in which television presenter Simba Mhere died‚ has assured the court that there will not be any further delays in the case. Preshalin Naidoo‚ 22‚ faces charges of reckless or negligent driving and culpable homicide. The state and the defence agreed to postpone the matter to December 8 to allow Vorster to properly consult Naidoo. The trial is scheduled to run for three days. Vorster told the court he would be instructing Roets to represent Naidoo. Vorster assured Setusha that the defence would be ready to proceed when they returned to court.Mhere‚ 26‚ and his friend Kady-Shay O’Bryan‚ 29‚ who was a passenger in the car Mhere was driving‚ died in the accident on William Nicol Drive in Fourways‚ Johannesburg‚ on January 31...
