Three sustain severe burn wounds after circuit breaker explodes at Maropeng

Three men were left seriously injured this morning after a circuit breaker they were working on exploded at a lodge near the R563 in Maropeng‚ west of Johannesburg‚ paramedics said. ER24 paramedics said all three men had sustained severe burn wounds to the majority of their bodies."Paramedics quickly began their treatment and provided the patients with advanced life support interventions. Once treated‚ two patients were airlifted to nearby hospitals for urgent treatment‚ one by the ER24 helicopter and the other by a private medical helicopter.The third patient was transported by ambulance‚" the emergency service said in a statement.It is understood that the three men had been working on the circuit breaker when it apparently exploded.Investigations have begun...
