Sindisiwe Manqele's “sharp tongue” may have pushed “down and out” rapper boyfriend Nkululeko “Flabba” Habedi over the edge. This was the explanation that Manqele’s lawyer‚ Norman Makhubela‚ offered on Monday for the events that led to the death of the rapper.Manqele‚ 26‚ is on trial in the Johannesburg High Court sitting at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court for Habedi’s murder.Habedi‚ 37‚ died of a stab wound to the chest on March 9 in his Alexandra‚ Johannesburg‚ home.Manqele pleaded not guilty‚ saying she stabbed him in self-defence.Presenting his closing argument‚ Makhubela told the court that Habedi’s behaviour on the fateful night was “erratic” and it disturbed Manqele. He said Manqele had a sharp tongue - and her telling Habedi that he was unemployed and that she was taking care of him - must have brought out the worst in Habedi. The trial continues. - TMG Digital..
