Panayiotou's lawyers move to access docket

Christopher Panayiotou’s lawyers plan to approach the Port Elizabeth High Court next week for an order that state advocate Marius Stander hand over copies of the docket in preparation for a bail application on new facts. The matter was set to be argued in the magistrate’s court this morning‚ but advocate Terry Price SC withdrew the application after an issue of jurisdiction arose.Price said he hoped the matter would instead be argued before a judge on Tuesday next week as a matter of urgency. Stander is reluctant to hand over the police docket as he says investigations are not yet complete...
