The Department of Energy announced on Friday that 93 and 95 octane petrol will increase by 1 cent per litre from December 2.
There will, however, be decreases in diesel and liquefied petroleum gas.
The price of diesel 0.05% sulphur and of 0.005% sulphur will decrease by 3.8c and 1.8c per litre respectively.
The wholesale price of illuminating paraffin will increase by 1.00c a litre, and of SMNRP (single maximum national retail price) illuminating paraffin by 0.20c a litre.
The maximum retail price for LPGAS will decrease by 4c a kilogram.
The main reasons for the fuel price adjustments was the weakening of the rand against the dollar, despite the drop in the prices of all petroleum products during the period under review, the department said in a statement issued on Friday afternoon.
