Stadium operator Access Management‚ a municipal official and a Uitenhage businesswoman are at the centre of a secret Treasury report claiming they are part of “one big conspiracy to siphon money from the Nelson Mandela Bay municipality”. The hard-hitting draft report‚ compiled by auditing firm Deloitte‚ accuses Access of being a gateway through which millions of rands meant for the city’s notorious bus system were funnelled in 2012 to pay businesswoman Andrea Wessels to organise a music concert which never took place.Stadium operator Access has rejected all allegations of fraud‚ saying every payment it made was on instruction by the municipality‚ and in accordance with its stadium management contract. – TMG Digital/The Herald..
