Elderly man airlifted to hospital after dog attack

An elderly man had to be airlifted to hospital in an ER24 medical helicopter on Thursday afternoon after being badly mauled by a dog near Carletonville on the Far West Rand‚ paramedics reported. “ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found the man lying on the ground. Upon assessment‚ paramedics found that the man was in a critical condition. He sustained multiple severe injuries.“Paramedics treated the man‚ believed to be in his 80’s‚ He was transported to hospital for further medical care‚” ER24 emergency medical service said.The attack occurred at Water’s Edge near the mining town...
