Falling tree seriously injures Johannesburg man: gallery

In a fluke incident‚ a Johannesburg man was seriously injured when a large tree fell on top of him in a park.

ER24 paramedics found him lying partially beneath a large tree‚ at the corners of Cross and 8th Street at the Carel Venter Park in Greymont.

He was in a serious condition‚ with a range of injuries including broken wrists, broken collar bone, head/neck and spine injuries.

The patient was provided with advanced life support treatment‚ and transported to Helen Joseph Hospital.
