Hawks nab second suspect for PE gang shooting

A Hawks-led multi-disciplinary task team nabbed a second suspect for a “random shooting in the northern areas of Port Elizabeth on Sunday evening” which left four dead and one seriously injured.Police described the incident as “gang-related violence”.“The 26-year-old suspect was arrested at his home in Helenvale‚” a statement said‚ adding that he will spend the weekend behind bars and appear in the Gelvandale Magistrate’s Court on Monday.Meanwhile‚ his alleged “partner in crime‚ Randell Calviet‚ 27‚ was remanded in custody when he appeared at the same court on Thursday”.Calviet will be back in court was postponed to Monday “to allow for his accomplice to appear before court”...
