12-day-old baby stolen from Western Cape hospital still not found

Police are searching for a 12-day-old baby that was stolen from a hospital in Worcester in the Western Cape on Thursday evening.The infant was initially reported to be a girl‚ but police clarified on Saturday that the missing child is in fact a boy.The baby went missing at about 7.50pm on Thursday during the visiting hours at the hospital and was wearing a blue crawler and wrapped in a yellow and blue fleece blanket‚ Western Cape police spokesperson Constable Noloyiso Rwexana said."The circumstances surrounding the abduction of the baby are being investigated and we make an urgent appeal to the public to come forward with information that can lead to the recovery of the baby and the arrest of the suspect‚" she said...
