Rioting students blamed for torching campus buildings on Vaal

Buildings at the Vaal University of Technology went up in flames on Wednesday night in student protests‚ which have disrupted university operations. Photos of burning buildings at the university's campus in Vanderbijlpark emerged on Twitter on Wednesday night.The university is currently closed due to the events on campus and a university ball planned for May 21-22 has been postponed‚ the university announced on its Facebook page.
