One killed and two injured in drive-by shooting in Port Elizabeth CBD

One person was killed and two were injured in a drive-by shooting outside of Motorland in Govan Mbeki Avenue‚ Port Elizabeth‚ on Tuesday morning. The shooting is suspected to be gang related. A dark blue Citi Golf crashed onto the pavement just outside Motorland this morning‚ with bullet holes in the back window.According to police‚ the occupants of the vehicle was on their way to the Port Elizabeth Magistrate’s Court.They were chased down Govan Mbeki Avenue and shot at by passengers in a gold Toyota Etios.No one has been arrested and the gang task team will take over the investigation.Police have blocked the Darling Street and Govan Mbeki Ave intersection.
