Woman caught with R2.1m cocaine stash in back pack at OR Tambo

South African Revenue Service Customs officials intercepted a woman from Sao Paolo carrying 7kg of cocaine valued at R2.1-million at Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport on Saturday‚ SARS said. The woman was stopped for routine check where her two bags and back pack were searched and scanned. Her back pack had a special compartment with white power that tested positive for cocaine‚ SARS said.The woman and the narcotics were handed over to SA Police Service for further investigation and prosecution...
