Two girls and 'granny' injured in Soweto house fire

A heater is believed to be the cause of a house fire in which three people were injured this morning‚ including two children. The small house in Dobsonville was "well alight"‚ paramedics from the ER24 Johannesburg South branch said.Three females were found seated outside of their residence on the road.Two girls‚ aged five and 14‚ as well as a 86-year-old woman had all sustained minor burn wounds as well as smoke inhalation.Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries‚ then transported them to Jabulani Hospital for further treatment."It is understood that the fire was caused by a heater that was left on for some time‚" ER24 said.Fire services were on scene to extinguish the blaze...
