Residents of Malvern where two men were killed over the weekend are demanding that the club where the men had been drinking be shut down.On Monday‚ residents marched again to the Cleveland police station demanding that police close the local nightclub on Jules Street.“We now want police to close the night club which operates 24/7 to be closed down. It must cease to exist. Police must close it down. The other taverns must at least close at 10pm so that children can sleep. Police must just implement this and let us see if the killing of children will continue if these places are closed earlier‚” said Nompiliso Sobhudula‚ organiser of the march. On Saturday morning‚ residents discovered two bodies with stab wounds at the corner of Jules and Mars streets. The men were allegedly involved in a quarrel inside the club and the matter was settled on the streets.Jules street has one of the highest number of taverns and night clubs in a single stretch of road.Sobhudula told TMG Digital that two weeks ago‚ one of the patrons of the club allegedly came out of the venue drunk in the early hours of the morning‚ started spinning his car and it hit a taxi‚ killing three people.Police are still searching for the killers of the two men found dead over the weekend...
