Youngsters to get counselling after witnessing father, daughter shooting in Boksburg

Trauma counsellors have been dispatched to help three teenagers and a preteen who witnessed a shooting that left two dead on Monday morning. While “the exact detail to the cause of the shooting will remain a subject for police investigation and comment‚” Netcare911 said a 60-year-old man and his 30-year-old daughter died at a house in Dawn Park Ext 2‚ Boksburg.The shooting occurred at about 7am.“When Netcare911 paramedics arrived on scene‚ we found that both father and daughter had already died due to the gunshot wounds they sustained‚” a statement said.“They were both declared dead on scene by Netcare911 paramedics.“Netcare911 can confirm that we have dispatched our trauma counsellors to counsel four teenagers who witnessed the incident.”The service listed the children’s ages as “19‚ 16‚ 13 and 11”...
