Police have burning questions after ‘dead man’ appears in court

A man who was declared dead after a vehicle fire – and whose Facebook wall is plastered with condolence messages – looked remarkably well when he appeared with a pierced ear in the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court. Local police were shocked to learn that the man‚ in his 30s‚ whom they believed burnt to death in December 2015‚ had apparently been living in another province‚ reported the Krugersdorp News.While details around the allegedly “fake death” were sketchy in court on Tuesday‚ police asked that he be kept in custody for a week so they could conduct further investigations.He was arrested at the weekend‚ on Sunday.Read the story here: Family shocked to learn that their dead son is in fact alive and well..
