Six kids injured in M1 collision near Mariann Hill

A woman and her six children passengers were injured when the car they were in was involved in a collision with another light motor vehicle on the M1 in Mariann Hill in KwaZulu-Natal on Wednesday morning. “ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 7am and found one vehicle in the left-hand lane while the second vehicle was found in the middle of the road‚” ER 24 said in a statement .“On further inspection‚ paramedics found that a woman and six children‚ aged between six and eight‚ had been injured in the collision.”Their injuries ranged from minor to moderate‚ and they were transported to various hospitals for further treatment.Also on Wednesday‚ ER24 paramedics attended the scene where a taxi rear-ended a truck on the Klipriver Drive in Alberton‚ injuring 17 people. They found both the taxi and heavy truck in the right-hand lane of the road‚ and “most of the occupants from the taxi were found seated in the vehicle and the pavement”‚ the emergency service said.“Fortunately‚ no serious or fatal injuries were reported.”Traffic was said to be “heavily affected” by both collisions. ..
