Kenny Kunene makes artist Iven Amali famous for nude DA painting

Kenny Kunene's shocking painting depicting DA leader Mmusi Maimane as a slave to white masters is the work of artist Iven Amali. The artist's name is signed in the bottom right corner.Kenny on naked art: I've put it in my bedroom so I can wake up to it every morningOutspoken businessman Kenny Kunene has strongly defended his purchase of a controversial painting insisting that it depicts the "true nature" of the Democratic Alliance. He is based out of Cape Town‚ according to a gallery in the Mother City.The painting portrays what appears to be Maimane‚ Western Cape premier Helen Zille and DA shadow minister of correctional services James Selfe with their private parts exposed. Maimane is pulling a cart carrying Zille and Selfe. The words “modern slavery” are hanging from the cart. Kunene posted a photo of himself behind the image saying‚ “I am now a proud owner of this master piece. Powerful story telling through art...Thanks to the fearless Artist...” The self-styled Sushi King and club owner previously gave a shout-out to the artist on Twitter for paintings of him on a throne and a facial portrait‚ saying: "This artist‚ Iven Imali is talented.
