Schoolchildren robbed at Curro in KwaZulu-Natal

Four Durban high school pupils were robbed by gunmen at school today.The pupils at Curro Embury College High School‚ in Morningside‚ were accosted by gunmen who took their tablets and cellphones.In a letter to parents‚ the school’s executive head‚ Mrs M Van Zyl said the four learners were sitting close to the school gate when they were approached by men outside the school who demanded they hand over their tablets and mobile phones.“The men were armed‚ but indicated that they just wanted the goods and did not have the intent to use the guns. The learners were unharmed and will receive the necessary counselling. The safety and security of learners under our care is our primary priority. We view this incident in a very serious light and will ensure additional security at the school with immediate effect‚” said Van Zyl...
