Worker electrocuted when vehicle touches power lines

A man in his 60s was electrocuted on Friday when the industrial vehicle he was in touched power lines in the Western Cape.His colleague‚ who is in his 20s‚ sustained multiple burns‚ said ER24. The accident occurred on a farm near the R44 just outside Somerset West."He was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care‚" said ER24 spokesman Chitra Bodasing.Paramedics said the older man was in critical condition and they had tried to resuscitate him. “However‚ despite all efforts to save the man‚ he sadly died‚" said Bodasing...
