R1 million reward offered for information on cash-in-transit attack

SBV Services are offering a R1 million reward for information leading to the successful arrest and conviction of robbers involved in a cash-in-transit attack near Hazyview in Mpumalanga on Tuesday morning. It’s not immediately known whether the robbers got away with any cash.The company said that a crew of SBV Services protection officers was attacked by an unknown number of armed suspects while travelling in the area north east of Hazyview.“Unfortunately all four crew members were injured and have been hospitalised.” Mark Barrett‚ Managing Director of SBV Services‚ commends the team for their bravery in defending the attack. “SBV’s Risk and Compliance team is working with the authorities to apprehend the perpetrators and will persist with the investigation until they are brought to justice.“We have a professional investigations team‚ a good working relationship with the authorities and the resources to ensure that justice is served. We will not tolerate any criminal activities that compromise the safety of our employees‚” Barrett added...
