Man dies after train and car collide in Westonaria

A man was killed when the car was driving collided with a train in Westonaria on Wednesday morning.ER24 and provincial paramedics attended to the incident‚ which occurred near the intersection of Watermeyer Road and 2nd Avenue‚ near the N12.They found “the car lying on its roof near the train tracks”‚ and the driver‚ “believed to be about 40 years of age‚ was found lying near the vehicle”‚ ER24 said.“Upon assessment it was found that he sustained multiple severe injuries. Sadly there was nothing that paramedics could do for him and he was declared dead.” ..
