Tutu discharged from hospital

Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu was discharged on Wednesday morning from the Cape Town hospital where he has spent the past three weeks.A statement distributed on behalf of the Tutu family by Oryx Media quoted Mrs Leah Tutu as saying she was "overjoyed to welcome her husband home".The archbishop was admitted to hospital for treatment to bring a recurring infection under control‚ and underwent a minor surgical procedure a week ago to address the cause of the infection."Mrs Leah Tutu said she was overjoyed to welcome her husband home‚ and promised she'd be doing everything within her power to nurture him back to full health‚" the statement read...
