Classes disrupted at UJ

Classes were disrupted at the University of Johannesburg's (UJ's) Soweto campus on Wednesday when angry protesters stormed into lecture rooms and forced fellow students to leave. "They removed us from class and they are now heading to the library. We do not know what is going to happen there‚" one of the students told TMG Digital. UJ students returned from a week's break and everything seemed normal until the #FeesMustFall movement started disrupting classes. Students also gathered at UJ's Auckland Park campus‚ disrupting some of the classes.Parents must help to solve fees crisis ‘amicably’: Nhlanhla NeneFormer finance minister Nhlanhla Nene says South Africans must be prepared either to pay more taxes or forfeit “nice projects” in order to raise university fees for poor students.
