A Johannesburg investment company has developed an application which allows investors to get advice on their tablets‚ phones or PCs while on the go. Inkunzi Wealth Group (IWGSA)‚ launched on Tuesday evening‚ is an advisory tool aimed at providing access to advice on wealth and investment to professionals online. The tool‚ a derivative of the “robo-advisor” trend which is currently making huge in-roads into the global private clients advisory space‚ has been designed specifically to assist the South African investor community‚ with features that have been customized to take into consideration South Africa’s early stages of global investing patterns.Techviser was designed to bridge the gap between the convenience of implementing investment online and the absence of advice in most current versions of South Africa’s Robo-advisor solutions.“Most available internet based advisor tools do not come with the personal touch that the maturing South African investor prefers. We wanted to design a tool that would allow the investor the comfort to know that any questions they may have about the implementation of their proposed solutions can be answered by highly qualified client advisers in our team‚” said Owen Nkomo‚ the CEO of IWGSA.He said that the turnaround time for implementing client investment from the receipt of client data input was between 24 and 48 hours on condition the client submits all necessary FICA documents‚ used to identify investors in the country under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act. The target market is the professional who struggles to take time off to spend hours with an investment advisor. App investors answer a seven-minute questionnaire‚ which is populated and submitted to IWGSA’s client advice centre‚ where the results of the algorithmic processes are converted into an investment proposal and submitted back to the client for approval‚ together with a the relevant advice.Nkomo said the app was also designed to cater for the modern office culture‚ where most employees work in open office set ups‚ and find it hard to discuss their personal issues over the phone.Using the app‚ documents can be signed electronically by the client‚ and submitted back for implementation. Techviser can be used for clients who are investing in stokvels‚ retirees‚ family trusts and corporate clients. - TMG Digital..
