Matric learner who went missing after being denied flight to Israel is found

A Joburg teenager who went missing on Wednesday after he was stopped from boarding a plane to Israel has been found. A family spokesperson said Jordan Hirson (18) from Gallo Manor in Sandton was found at the airport and is safe with his father."At the moment they did not tell me anything about what happened. They just told me that he has been at the airport the whole time and it looks like he was trying to make other means to get on another plane to Israel‚" his aunt Michelle Blumenau said.It is not yet clear what prompted the matric learner from Yeshiva college to pack his bags and leave but Blumenau said Hirson had previously expressed an interest in moving to Israel to pursue studies in religion.He left his home on Wednesday evening at around 5.30pm and took an Uber to the airport.
