Rhodes fees protesers in violent standoff with cops

Fees protests continued at Rhodes University on Tuesday with students engaged in a day-long standoff with police who fired rubber bullets and teargas to disperse protesters. Chaos erupted as a student leader was arrested while trying to stop students from pelting the police with rocks. Police have since barricaded the university.Protesters have said it cannot be business as usual.
