Cape Town man nabbed with drugs in a teddy bear

A man was arrested in the Cape Town CBD with a stash of dagga and mandrax hidden in a teddy bear on Wednesday night. Western Cape police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Andrè Traut said that at about 9pm‚ “members attached to Cape Town Sea Border unit were busy with patrol… when they spotted an individual who acted suspiciously”. “He was approached and upon a search of his belongings‚ they found drugs‚ comprising 49 mandrax tablets and 34 parcels of dagga‚ concealed in a teddy bear.”Traut said the 32-year-old was taken into custody and will appear in the Cape Town Magistrates Court once he has been charged. ..
