Axe murder accused Henri van Breda is expected to appear in the high court in Cape Town on Friday morning.

The triple murder sent shockwaves through the country in January 2015.

Van Breda was nabbed for murdering his mother Teresa‚ father Martin and brother Rudi at their home on the luxury De Zalze estate in Stellenbosch.

Her legal representative‚ Louis Buikman‚ previously told the Sunday Times that brother and sister ''see each other regularly''.

He is out on bail of R100‚000 and was released under conditions which includes having to report to his local police station and not being allowed to leave the province.

Last year Van Breda and his girlfriend‚ Danielle Janse Van Rensburg‚ were arrested for drug possession.
