A 32-year-old man was left seriously injured on Thursday afternoon when a gate fell on top of him at a complex in Claremont‚ KwaZulu-Natal‚ ER24 reported.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene on 28th Avenue and found the man lying next to the gate surrounded by several colleagues.
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and was in a serious condition.
The man was treated for his injuries and provided with advanced life support interventions.
Once treated‚ the man was transported to Westville Hospital for further treatment.
It is understood that the man had had been working on the gate when it fell. The man was then pulled out from beneath the gate by his colleagues.
