A man has been severely injured after he was attacked by two pit bulls at Tinley Manor on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast on Monday Morning.

The 30-year-old man was jogging on the beach when the attack occurred.

IPSS Medical Rescue ALS paramedic‚ Janus van Schalkwyk‚ treated the patient on the scene and said that he had extensive injuries to all four limbs and his face.

Van Schalkwyk said that the pit bulls belong to a resident in the area who heard the commotion and was able to pull the animals off the man.

The man is in a stable condition and has been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The pit bulls are currently still with their owner in Tinley Manor.
