Two people suffer burns in Boksburg fire

Two people suffered burns when a fire broke out at a paint spray workshop in Boksburg east of Johannesburg on Monday.

Ekurhuleni Emergency Services spokesperson William Ntladi said he was passing through the neighbourhood when he noticed the workshop in flames and called the fire department to the scene.

“We have been able to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to other buildings. Two people have been taken to hospital with burns but they were stable. We are busy trying to dampen the fire‚” said Ntladi.

The cause of the fire is not known.
