The Brett Kebble murder trial was interrupted this morning after the stenographer's recording equipment was stolen from the Johannesburg High Court last night.
Detectives were brought in to dust for fingerprints, after the mixing desk and microphone belonging to a private stenographer, paid for by Kebble's business partner who is in Australia, John Stratton , were stolen.
The State's star witness, Clinton Nassif, Kebble's former security head, is expected to testify when the sitting starts at 11.30.
Nassif is allegedly the man who instructed Kebble's shooters, Mikey Schultz, Nigel McGurk and Faizel Smith, to carry out the murder.
