Terre'Blanche murder trial postponed
The case against the teenage boy accused of murdering Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging (AWB) leader Eugene Terre'Blanche was postponed by the Ventersdorp Magistrate's Court.
National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesman Mthunzi Mhaga said the youth made his mandatory 30-day court appearance.
This was for the court to determine if the conditions at the place of safety where he is being held are satisfactory.
"The minor accused registered no concerns with the place of safety. The court was satisfied with the conditions and the case was postponed to 5 October," said Mhaga.
The youth would remain in the same place of safety where he had been held since his arrest alongside Chris Mahlangu in April.
The two are accused of hacking the Right-wing leader to death on his farm outside Ventersdorp over the Easter weekend.
Their trial is due to start on November 22.
