Delegates will have to pay ANC
ANC members will have to pay to attend the meeting of the party's national general council in KwaZulu-Natal in two weeks.
ANC spokesman Jackson Mthembu told The Times yesterday that all delegates to the meeting will pay a fee.
National executive committee members will pay R4000 each to attend, and ministers will have to fork out R5000 a head.
Mthembu said ANC members involved in business will pay about R24000 each.
Branch delegates will pay R900, and leaders of the youth and women's leagues, and of the veterans' association, will each pay R2000.
Mayors and MPs are expected to pay between R2000 and R5000 to participate in the event.
Members of the ANC's alliance partners have been asked to pay about R2000 each.
