South African hosts of Jeremy Clarkson will hopefully recall the sacked Top Gear host’s violent temper tantrum with an assistant when he couldn’t serve a hot meal‚ and start planning the menu with the help of a gas oven – because he’s coming to Jozi.

Amazon has announced that the first studio recording of the new Jeremy Clarkson‚ Richard Hammond and James May show‚ called ‘The Grand Tour’‚ will take place in Johannesburg‚ South Africa‚ on 17 July 2016.

The pre-recorded studio section of the programme will be filmed in front of a live audience‚ all housed within a giant tent – and Amazon Prime is giving fans the opportunity to win one of three pairs of tickets‚ travel and accommodation to be part of the recording.

To enter for a chance to win‚ entrants should share‚ via Twitter‚ a photo or video of the most unusual place they’ve ever put up a tent‚ using the hashtag #TheGrandTourJoburg. The top 10 entries will be shortlisted by an Amazon Prime Video panel‚ and the final three winners will be selected by Clarkson‚ Hammond and May.

The Competition starts today (June 2) and closes Wednesday June 8.

If you are out of town‚ don’t worry. The prize includes round trip economy class airfare for the winner and one guest departing from a major international airport near the winner’s main residence and arriving at an airport in South Africa near the film studio‚ as well as 3 nights in 4 star standard hotel accommodation for the winner and one guest (single room‚ double occupancy). Transport to get around once in Johannesburg will be arranged.

The winner will also get $300 spending money.
