Lara Croft will raid Cape Town

Cape Town's booming film industry is gearing up to shoot the reboot of the Lara Croft franchise, starring Oscar winner Alicia Vikander in the role immortalised by Angelina Jolie in the first two movies. The Swedish actress, who won this year's best supporting actress Academy Award for her role in The Danish Girl, will work under a fellow Scandinavian, Norwegian director Roar Uthaung, when filming starts in February.
