Ex-taxman does battle in CCMA

The constructive dismissal arbitration of former SARS spokesman Adrian Lackay began at the CCMA yesterday, with SARS's lawyers saying Lackay was abusing the process to contest allegations about a "rogue" unit within the revenue service. Lackay left SARS last year in the wake of the rogue investigative unit scandal and is now claiming constructive dismissal, saying his resignation was forced because his employment was intolerable following the appointment of commissioner Tom Moyane.
