South African and Israeli army instructors, hired by the ruling Guinea junta, are training pro-junta recruits in a camp in Forecariah (100km south of Conakry), witnesses said.

The new soldiers recruited by the junta, which seized power in Guinea on December 23 last year, are being trained in a camp formerly used to house Sierra Leone refugees outside Forecariah.

The around 40 military instructors are training soldiers "recruited on the basis of their ethnicity" as they belong to the same group as junta leader Captain Moussa Dadis Camara, witnesses said.

"You can recognise them by their uniforms which say 'instructor' on the back," a local policeman who asked not to be named, told AFP when reached by phone from Dakar.

Observers accuse the junta, under increasing international pressure after the massacre of over 150 opposition supporters at a rally in September, of recruiting young men from Camara's home region close to Liberia and Sierra Leone.

"(Camara) is training them to save his regime in case of trouble," another policeman speaking on condition of anonymity said.

According to a local observer Camara want to "make sure that his ethnic group dominates the army".

This people go to the rest of africa to cause havoc and our own goverment treat them with kid gloves when they come back. A precedent was set by not prosecuting those that were release from Zimbabwe lately it was this guy that was release from Equatorial Guinea. Maybe these mercenaries go to africa with the blessing of our intelligence services.

Any more of this and you might finally start noticing SA and the ANC Govt's role in assisting Racist dictatorships in Africa.

Or haven't you noticed the SA firms helping ZANU to oppress the peasants and mine Blood diamonds in Zim.

As well as the two milion rounds of ammunition, and the six million chineses bullets.

And the 300 milion rands to a violent regime to pay thugs to beat votes out of the peasants.

And Mbeki trying to portect his Arabic Slave Masters in Darfur by setting up a biased court inorder to deny justice to all the Black Africa Peaants complaining about racial Genocide?

etc etc etc.

If they are SA Army, they are there at the instruction of the SA government, right?

So now the government is supplying Military training personnel to dictators?

Is this not the same as sending hired mercenaries to tribal warlords?
