Xolobeni: Ministers duck questions on mining of titanium in sand dunes in the Amadiba traditional area

Government ministers at a packed meeting in Xolobeni this week ducked questions on the controversial titanium mining project and on the violence that has wracked the Eastern Cape village for years. Residents had hoped for information on police investigations into the killing of activist Sikhosiphi “Bazooka” Rhadebe.
